Vogue Interiors announced it has completed the design and execution of the interior for Stock Signature Homes’ 4,155 square feet, five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath Windsor model residence at Treviso Bay. The Windsor’s flowing great room floor plan includes a formal dining room, study, a large gourmet island kitchen, an exercise room, an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, fireplace, pool, and spa, a spacious master suite, and two two-car garages. Vogue’s Sheila Herrera, I.D.S. has brought a clean-lined look to the home that includes Asian influences.
“The inspiration for this design came from oriental fabric selections available in Vogue’s Design Center,” said Herrera. “The color palette includes pale taupe backgrounds with plum, chartreuse, silver metallic, and aged mirror accents that play against rich cappuccino and espresso wood tones. The flooring in the living areas is light taupe porcelain tile with a modeled look. We chose to use wood flooring in the study.”
Herrera incorporated numerous ceiling details in her design, including a hexagonal coffer with an X detail and a metallic faux finish in the great room. Furnishings in the great room include a very light, creamy taupe sofa, two side chairs with solid taupe fabric, a pair of benches with plum fabric that has a key design and frames with a silver metallic finish, a low, straight-lined cocktail table with an antiqued mirror finish, clean-lined end tables, and an oriental sofa table with a dark finish. A sculpted area rug presents plum tones and includes silk elements. Herrera has created a dark-toned built-in for the great room’s entertainment wall that includes flanking columns with sconces, glass shelving for displaying collectibles and blown-glass accessories, and a center console positioned beneath a wall-mounted television. Lower cabinetry in each section of the wall unit provides space for equipment storage. The back wall of the entertainment center is finished with a metallic taupe and silver grass cloth that reflects the ceiling’s faux finished coffers.
Herrera mixed the cabinetry finishes in the Windsor’s kitchen with a counter height dark chocolate island base to compliment the great room’s entertainment center and a taupe tone on the perimeter. A 6” x 6” metallic pewter backsplash lines the entire perimeter and plays against the room’s light granite countertops. The adjacent dinette features a cornice board that wraps around a curved window and joins a circular glass-topped table overlooking the outdoor living area.
The formal dining room features a large mirrored circular table with a silver metallic base. Six chairs with dark wood legs and a light, off-white oatmeal two-toned fabric with silver accent threads contrast nicely with a dark toned built-in. The furniture pieces and built-in play against sparkling faux finished walls. Another eye-catching ceiling detail reflects the look established in the great room and includes a scalloped effect at the corners.
A taupe Lambrequin cornice board at the window in the study brings an Asian influence to the space. Dark taupe wood flooring plays against a lighter taupe, custom designed built-in. The room’s desk has a medium toned wooden top and metal accents on the legs. A contemporized wing chair serves as the desk chair. The study’s furnishings also include an accent chair with a chocolate and taupe zebra pattern.
In keeping with Naples’ hallmark outdoor lifestyle, Herrera has created an appealing outdoor living area that features a marble deck, a summer kitchen, a fireplace, a cozy sitting area, and a pool and spa with iridescent waterline tiles. The kitchen features a beautiful wraparound counter height bar with a granite countertop and espresso-toned cabinetry.
The Windsor’s master suite provides a spacious, comfortable retreat. A double door entry opens to a vestibule with an arched niche wall and a hallway leading to a bedroom with double French doors opening to the outdoor living area. A large sitting area offers a view to the rear of the home. The bed’s headboard is contoured to a mirror with a frame matching the headboard’s light taupe velvet upholstery. This unique look is contrasted by an espresso finished dresser and mirrored nightstands with a silver finish. The frames of two contemporized wing chairs also have an espresso finish. Herrera completed the look with a large silver framed oriental mirror that stands on the floor.
Rich, dark-toned his and her vanities are featured in the master bath and play against creamy granite countertops with plum speckles. Silver lighting fixtures complement the bath’s silver metallic wallpaper and light neutral porcelain tile flooring. Highly reflective plum toned glass tiles with silver specs provide an accent at the tub deck and on the shower walls.
