Vogue Interiors announced it has completed the design and execution of the interior for Stock Signature Homes’ Useppa furnished model at Stock Development’s Hidden Harbor community located between Naples and Fort Myers on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Hidden Harbor is a 55-acre community featuring a boating lifestyle with captivating water views, private boat slips, world-class fishing, and a residents-only clubhouse. At build-out, Hidden Harbor will include 76 contemporary coastal estate homes ranging from 2,500 to 3,500 square feet. The Useppa model is one of five furnished models that are being showcased at Hidden Harbor.
Vogue’s interior designer Sheila Corasaniti, IDS created the interior for the 2,789 square feet under air Useppa model. The open concept great room floor plan includes four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a study, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area featuring a covered lanai with a summer kitchen and dining and conversation areas, as well as a spacious deck with a large pool and spa. The great room flows into a gourmet island kitchen with counter-height barstool seating and into a dining area overlooking the pool and spa. Ninety-degree pocketing sliders completely open the great room to the outdoor living area.
Corasaniti’s groundbreaking vision for the Useppa model combines a breezy coastal look with modish Miami chic. She has incorporated driftwood, stone and other natural materials to create an eye-catching array of texture. The highly polished 24 x 24-inch porcelain tile floor in the main living areas invokes Miami flair, while the vivacious color palette blends aquas and soft apple greens with beige and white for a fresh, lively appeal.
The natural elements begin in the foyer where the walls are adorned with a striking covering derived from the abaca banana tree, native to the Philippines. With the look of reeded grass cloth interwoven with silver thread, it presents a remarkable backdrop to a statement bench finished in a tufted off-white fabric with nail heads and a tall hat tree artfully fashioned out of interwoven driftwood branches. Overhead, a contemporary chrome chandelier embellished with droplets of crystal is dazzling.
Double doors to the left lead from the foyer to the study where light beige-gray driftwood flooring, laid horizontally, presents a charming foundation for two étagères created with driftwood, chrome, and glass. An extraordinary driftwood desk and lime green chair float in front. The walls are painted a light gray with soft off-white linen drapes that are also seen elsewhere in the home. An occasional chair, upholstered in linen, is decorated with a pillow that incorporates all the apple green, aqua, and taupe tones in Corasaniti’s palette.
Beyond the foyer, the great room offers an expansive welcoming space that includes the dining room and kitchen. Corner pocketing sliders and wide windows create a sense of light and connection to the glorious outside. Corasaniti’s has incorporated dramatic ceiling beams wallpapered with the look of driftwood that span the entire area to add texture and vitality.
The great room’s feature wall showcases a modern floating cabinet in an off-white finish with shelves at the sides and a shelf over the television. The background wall tone is a soft neutral beige. Gathered around, the seating group includes a sofa in off-white linen with chrome nail heads accented by pillows featuring wide stripes in all the home’s fresh colors of aqua, apple green, pale blue and off-white. Two accent barrel chairs with chrome frames are upholstered in off-white. A Miami-style Lucite cocktail table with a glass top is blended with chrome and glass sofa tables. For contrast, one of the end tables is a stunning cube design all in natural teak-toned wood. Suspended over the seating group, a twisted chrome chandelier floats extravagantly like seaweed.
When the pocketing sliders are opened, the great room and outdoor living areas combine to create the sense of a truly remarkable, all-encompassing space. Outside, the furnishings are upholstered in an off-white material as a natural extension of the inside design. The dining area features a table with seating for six. The summer kitchen along one wall houses cabinetry in stainless steel and light cream granite counters that display flecks of black, gray, and soft green. The wall behind the grill is finished with stacked stone. The pool itself is L-shaped with crisp angles and an exquisite bright aqua tile at the water line for a beguiling Miami look. A fire pit emphasizes the drama of this luxurious entertainment space.
In the indoor dining area, which enjoys spectacular views of the pool, a rectangular driftwood-finish table is paired with six matching chairs upholstered in linen. Overhead, a modern chandelier with the look of bent chrome tubing and crystal adds a contrasting twist. A double curio cabinet in an off-white finish is showcased against a painted wall of bright aqua for a fresh burst of color against the muted beige walls of the great room. Additional vibrancy is provided by colorful vases and accessories in the cabinet. The wide window is framed by soft sheer draperies in white.
Off-white tones continue in the beautiful kitchen where extensive cabinetry with simple shaker style doors and chrome hardware is featured around the perimeter and on the generous island. All counter surfaces are executed in a handsome granite with striations of taupe, gray, and off-white. Sanded river rock creates a backsplash that provides remarkable texture and a sense of cohesion. The side walls and areas above the cabinetry feature a printed natural grass cloth with silver metallic accents. At the island, metal counter stools are adorned with happy apple green tie cushions while overhead decorative pendant lights formed of chrome and crystal tubes add pizzazz.
Corasaniti’s design in the master bedroom includes a glamorous silver metal poster bed with a headboard in off-white fabric with buttoned tufting set against another accent wall of bright aqua. The other walls are painted in the light soft beige. The dresser and night stands are represented in shades of off-white while the light bed linens are accented by a wavy fabric in apple and aqua. A flamboyant chrome chandelier with crystal fluting adds the finishing touch.
A hallway leads past two walk-in closets to a master bathroom offering bright, fresh appeal. His and her vanity cabinetry in an off-white finish are topped with granite counters in taupe and cream. The flooring is executed in a light porcelain tile with a driftwood feeling. The shower blends glass tile with 12 x 24-inch stacked tiles to create a wide vertical border. Enhancing the room’s natural elegance, a stand-alone tub is located along the back wall.
