Bonita Springs-based Vogue Interiors announced it has completed the design and execution of the interior design for Stock Signature Homes’ furnished Madison model in the Collingtree neighborhood in Country Club East at Lakewood Ranch. Vogue’s Sheila Corasaniti, IDS and Salvatore Giso, IDS created a relaxed interior with a calm color palette for the 2,947 square feet under air, four bedroom, four-and-a-half bath residence. The great room floor plan includes a study, a gourmet island kitchen, a dining room with 90-degree pocketing sliders that open to an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, pool, and spa, and a three-car garage.
Taking their initial inspiration from a fabric featuring an embroidered floating water lily leaf, Corasaniti and Giso based their design concept on the calming and relaxing qualities of water. Inspired by the ever-changing aspects of water, the home has a serene and relaxing ambiance realized in the tranquil neutral color palette of soft cream, light natural taupe, and rich chocolate brown. Accents of a soft gray blue and warm vanilla add to the overall quiet elegance of the design. Tile flooring in a light toned weathered wood design is used throughout the home, with a darker accent inlay in the foyer and a reverse pattern in both the study and in the gallery.
Upon entry to the home, the right wall of the foyer features an elegant weathered wood console with a large beautifully crafted metal leaf design on the front, contrasting the earthy wood and the hard metal textures. Above the console, a large mirror in a weathered wood frame reflects the stunningly colorful artwork mounted on the left wall. An oversized tall and narrow open ironwork chandelier complements the amazing sense of light and volume in the entry space. The foyer flows directly into the grand gallery hallway, an impressive 18’ high space with two tray ceilings with intricate architectural details and a darker toned reverse patterned flooring that echo the design direction of the ceiling. Two softly shaded chandeliers highlight the impressive height of the gallery and illuminate the artwork on the walls. This space creates a pleasing sense of arrival for visitors approaching the great room.
The great room features a media wall displaying an open console with a seagrass iron design showcasing a creamy Travertine top. A flat screen television is mounted above the media console on a wall covered in a dramatic highly textured metallic toned bronze and chocolate wallpaper that mimics the look of fine grained leather. Two cozy and comfortable soft gray-blue club chairs are set on a creamy soft modern shag rug facing a sophisticated oversized sofa upholstered in a luxurious pale cream herringbone fabric. The richly embroidered accent pillows on the sofa are in the designers’ original inspirational lily leaf fabric. The clean and modern look continues in the metal base cocktail table inlaid with a patterned white driftwood finish, again highlighting the contrast of textural elements. Further seating in the great room is provided by two sporty and masculine settees in a rich chocolate brown mohair fabric. The settees face the great room gallery hall and the pool area on either side of the sofa and are complemented by richly striped accent pillows containing all the colors in the home’s palette. Here, as in all areas of the home, generous cream gauze fabric panels dress all of the windows to create soft light and relaxing movement.
In the study, an impressive desk with a brown vellum surface and an iron base provides a comfortable work space. A pair of champagne iron étagères with wood shelves at varying heights display accessories and collected items. Across from the desk, a whimsical horn design club chair in a pale vanilla toned fabric is positioned next to a metallic gold drum table.
Open to the great room, the kitchen features a large pantry and wide counter-height island. All cabinetry is finished in an elegant light cream finish with subtle natural taupe striations. The cabinetry is complemented by gleaming quartz counter surfaces in soft cream with rich chocolate and taupe details throughout. Adding dimensional intrigue to the kitchen, the backsplash is an unusual three dimensional design comprised of overlapping small cream stone tiles creating the illusion of cascading movement and texture and referencing the designers’ original water inspiration with a rock ledge appearance.
In the dining area just off the kitchen, large windows offer expansive views onto the outdoor living area and the pool. The romantic dining design includes a large round dining table with an inlaid metal pedestal base and espresso toned finish. Six comfortable open back espresso dining chairs are fitted with a luxurious creamy linen fabric. A large round center detail in the ceiling features a backlit cove designed to create an unusually effective soft glowing atmosphere for entertaining.
The lanai presents a flexible and comfortable area and serves as the gathering place for casual outdoor entertaining on two sofas accented with deep espresso and cream pillows. Outdoor dining offers seating for six at a rectangular table with dining chairs sporting light cream cushions. Directly outside the master suite, an intimate conversation area features four open weave barrel chairs with complementing drinks tables. The conversation piece of the lanai will surely be the Tropical resort cabana bed on the corner of the pool deck. The large round daybed is centered by a built in cocktail table and a whimsical sculptural canopy rises from one side to hover over the top of the bed.
The serene master suite features walls in soft vanilla tones with a continuation of the driftwood flooring. A dreamy king canopy bed is dressed with a textured solid cream coverlet accented by multiple throw pillows in a metallic leafy pattern and in a geometric chevron patterned fabric. The stunning bed presents light wood corner posts, an ironwork canopy and upholstered inserts of cream linen. Nightstands are in a lighter taupe wood with fretwork inserts on the front and the dresser is a darker toned taupe wood. Two flax club chairs flank a drum accent table by the doors to the lanai. The master bedroom windows are dressed in breezy light cream gauze panels for romantic dreams.
The expansive master bath boasts a high-gloss 24-inch tile flooring and shower in a pale cream. Transitional off white cabinetry is topped with Diana Royale marble countertops. Shower details include glass and stone listello accent tile that incorporates the cream, blue gray and taupe colors of the home. An elegant free standing spa tub floats in the center of the luxuriously appointed room.
