Vogue Interiors announced designers Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID, and Sheila Corasaniti, IDS have completed an interior that exudes both sophisticated elegance and casual comfort for Harbourside Custom Homes’ Casa Arianna furnished model residence in Seneca at Talis Park. The interior design takes full advantage of the long-range water and double or triple fairway views afforded by Seneca’s choice lakefront home sites that showcase Talis Park’s hallmark “In the Park” living experience.
Harbourside’s 3,935 square feet Casa Arianna great room floor plan includes a wide gallery entry hallway offering a see-through view, a formal dining room, a wet bar, a gourmet kitchen with a large island and a breakfast nook overlooking a view of the outdoors, a study, a lady’s study, four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a spacious outdoor living area with an optional summer kitchen, an optional fireplace, pool and spa, a two-car garage, and a one-car garage. The great room and master bedroom open to the outdoor living area to create a captivating indoor/outdoor living experience that pays homage to Seneca’s one-of-a-kind setting.
Gebert and Corasaniti’s inspirational design reflects the casual elegance of the Casa Arianna’s open and inviting floorplan. Their soft color palette incorporates muted silvers, pewters, and tans with accents of dusty plum and sea glass blue. The soft tan walls and lighter trim coordinate perfectly with the beautiful marble flooring in the main living areas showcasing swirls of soft tans and taupe. The fabrics, too, are light in tone, but durable and functional. The overall ambiance conveys elegance and comfort.
Upon entry, a mosaic of polished marble tiles inset into the foyer flooring creates an immediate impression, extending with a rug effect along the grand hallway into the great room. Overhead, three dramatic ceiling trays, each displaying a beautiful lantern pendant, balance the flooring design. A stunning mirrored-finish console provides the foundation for glamorous artwork.
The grand hallway opens on the right to a formal dining room defined by square columns adorned with a contemporary flat molding. On the back wall, moldings have been applied in an artful framework, inset with mirrors for added pizzazz. The glass-topped dining table with a double espresso-toned pedestal base is paired with six contemporary wing chairs. Overhead, within the tray, a dramatic drop ceiling features a faux finish with beautiful sparkling crystals.
Just off the dining room, a walk-in wet bar offers additional functionality with a counter height bar that opens to the gallery hallway. Multi-level light taupe cabinets, some with glass fronts, are complemented by marble-like quartz countertops.
The great room showcases a feature wall adorned by shimmering textured wallpaper and displaying a gorgeous gas fireplace with an 80-inch television above. Painted columns on either side of the fireplace and television feature a modern applied molding detail to frame attractive light sconces. Beyond the columns, glass shelves with storage doors below provide practical display space. A linen colored sofa with contemporary style tufting and two arm chairs in taupe with silver nail heads provide an inviting seating arrangement. The end tables feature a gray wood tone with silver hardware, while a blonde patent leather ottoman serves as a cocktail table. A cream area rug with an unusual shag pile completes the scene while beautiful side panel drapes frame the wide glass sliders.
For the kitchen, Corasaniti and Gebert selected clean-lined, off-white linen cabinets with a chocolate glaze and simple shaker-style doors, also replicated on the spacious counter-height island where corner post legs add detail and flair. Above the island, pendant lights with an open lantern look highlight the extraordinary granite countertops that feature waves of movement in taupes, grays, and linens. A decorative tile backsplash adds the finishing touch.
Adjacent to the kitchen, the breakfast nook offers glorious views to the pool area through angled mitered windows. Here, a window treatment with shaped cornices is presented to coordinate with the great room drapes. A round glass-topped table, with a drum chandelier overhead, features a charcoal-toned pedestal base with the look of a giant spring. The charcoal chairs are upholstered in an off-white micro harlequin pattern.
Outside, the large covered lanai features a perimeter kitchen along the wall at one end with espresso-toned cabinetry and granite countertops. A modern square metal table in an espresso finish features a top with stone center and is paired with four chairs displaying handsome plum-colored cushions. In addition, a large rectangular glass-topped dining table and six chairs executed in a woven taupe wicker offer casual entertaining space. At the far side, a conversation area with a loveseat, easy chairs and a cocktail table is grouped around a gorgeous outdoor fireplace featuring floor to ceiling tile in a stone color punctuated at regular intervals by decorative banding.
The master suite is entered by means of a double door entry from the gallery hallway. A glamorous vestibule with fauxed ceiling, soft lighting, and a wall niche displaying shimmery wallpaper provide a sense of arrival to a luxurious bedroom decorated in tones of plums, soft tans, and off-white. Faux detailing is continued on the ceiling where a magnificent chandelier continues a look established in the vestibule and master bathroom. The bed and splendid headboard have a contemporary, upholstered look, flanked by night stands in an antique mirrored finish which perfectly coordinates with an off-white triple dresser with silver pulls. Two high back contemporary wing chairs and multi-colored silk drapes complete the scene.
The flooring in the master bathroom is executed in an off-white porcelain tile with the look of travertine. His and her vanities on either side of a free-standing tub in the corner of the room are finished in a linen color with a chocolate glaze. The vanity countertops showcase a very light marble with dramatic swirls of taupe, charcoal, and cream. The shower tile coordinates perfectly with the flooring.
The study, located at the rear of the home, features a custom built-in with a credenza and bookcases in medium brown tones, and a floating desk in front. The walls are decorated with applied moldings in a stylish design, inset with a quilted-look charcoal wallpaper. Attractive accent chairs on either side of a decorative box table complement the handsome draperies.
At the front of the home, Gebert and Corasaniti have created a lady’s study featuring an espresso finish desk with chrome legs and a taupe fabric chair with nail heads. Here, a sleeper sofa in a light cream fabric and leather ottoman lends practicality to this stylish retreat with its blue-toned area rug and beautiful drapes.
