Vogue Interiors’ Salvatore Giso, IDS has completed the interior design for Stock Signature Homes’ furnished Birchwood III model at the Isles of Collier Preserve. Sarah Fain is the Lead Design Assistant for the model. The three bedroom, three and a half bath open concept residence also includes a study, an adjoining great room, island kitchen, and dining area. The outdoor living area has a large conversation area, a dining area, an outdoor kitchen, and a pool with a spa. The great room opens to the outdoor conversation area. Salvatore has created a look that presents both classic and modern appeal. Greyish-white wall tones and cobalt, sapphire, and azure accents throughout, and birchwood flooring bring a sense of light airiness to the space. The subtle elegance of the lighting incorporated in the design brings additional balance to the overall look. The beautiful yet bold design offers a perfect complement to the Isles of Collier Preserve’s exquisite surroundings.
The foyer features the birchwood flooring material set in a herringbone pattern. The flooring throughout the living areas is birchwood planks laid horizontally. A polished nickel diamond shaped chandelier brings a touch of elegance to the foyer. The chandelier’s three inner layers create a teardrop effect.
In the study that is situated adjacent to the foyer, the feature wall behind the desk is wallpapered in a blue and white print that is framed with white molding. A credenza bedecked in mirrors and a large art piece is presented behind a desk with a white top and cascading chrome sides. A desk chair in a creamy white contributes to the efficiency of the workspace. The wall opposite the desk is painted in the greyish-white tone found throughout the home and features a three-piece series of artwork that spans the wall. A large indigo leather swivel chair and a circular side table with blue agate stones and a silver base offer an appealing place to curl up with a good book. A white laser-cut area rug and a polished silver wagon wheel chandelier with candle lights on the top complete the look.
The great room’s feature wall showcases two ten-foot drywall bump-outs with backlighting and flank a wall finished with a faux-stone textured wallpaper. A television is wall mounted above a floating cabinet finished in gun metal blue. A third bump-out with lighting in the corner serves as an architectural feature and complements a sculptural art piece. Furnishings in the great room include a fully upholstered sofa and loveseat with track arms and khaki-toned fabric. The sofa is flanked by open end tables with glass tops and wooden bottom shelves. A sofa table includes a wood top, a lower wooden shelf, and chrome siding. A side chair is finished in an off-white woven fabric and provides a slight note of contrast. The cocktail table has a soft metallic white wooden top and inlaid chrome legs that cascade in longer and longer pieces until they reach the center of the table. An off-white flat pile area rug anchors the furniture grouping.
In the kitchen, the island base is finished in gun metal blue and topped by a grey lagoon granite counter surface. Three bar stools at the island are done in a natural woven fabric with nail head trim and brownish wood frames. Three circular pendant lights over the island are suspended by thin wires and appear to be floating in space. The perimeter features glazed silver stone white cabinetry and grey lagoon granite countertops. Forty-eight-inch glass front upper cabinets with gun metal blue back walls flank the cook top’s vent hood. Glass, marble, and wood-look tiles are set vertically to create the kitchen’s backsplash.
A square table with a 60-inch clear glass top and a Lucite base with textured wood grain patterns provides seating for eight in the dining area. The chairs are upholstered in a geometric patterned fabric. The fully upholstered chairs also feature exposed wooden legs in the same brown feature as the barstools at the island in the kitchen.
Salvatore’s blue and white color palette continues in the master bedroom. A fully upholstered king-sized bed features an off-white short pile chenille flared winged headboard. The bed is flanked by Moonstruck grey wood nightstands with Lucite pulls. To add a note of contrast, the dresser is finished in a silken pearl tone with silver decorative teardrop pulls. A side chair features a white cover with metallic thread and is accompanied by a square silvery white drum table.
In the master bath, the flooring is 18 by 18-inch tile in a white canvas tone that plays against creamy toned walls. The medium grey vanity cabinetry includes a light grey counter surface with dark cream and glass speckles. The flooring carries into the shower where Salvatore has created a detail on the shower head wall. The detail includes a white and cream subway tile pattern set vertically up the shower head wall. The master bath also features a standalone tub with an accent table.
The great room opens to the lanai’s spacious conversation area presented in white and grey tones. An entirely white rattan furniture grouping with soft grey cushions includes a sofa, two large occasional chairs and a pair of ottomans. The rattan cocktail table is also white. A console with a white metal base and a natural teak inset top sits beneath the television. The outdoor dining area includes a white aluminum table and six white slat chairs. The outdoor kitchen’s grill wall is finished in a greyish blue horizontal elongated diamond tile over a dark granite counter surface. The kitchen also includes a cooking station and a sink.
