Vogue Interiors announced that Sheila Corasaniti, IDS has been selected to create the interior design for Stock Signature Homes’ furnished Marigold model at the Isles of Collier Preserve, a 2,400-acre development by Minto Communities bordered on the south by Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, the north by Naples Botanical Garden, and the west by Dollar Bay. More than half of the 2,400 acres is dedicated to natural habitat and preserve areas connected by a network of biking paths and recreational trails with exercise stations and nature observation areas as well as blueways for kayaking. The community is just four miles east of downtown Naples on U.S. 41/Tamiami Trail East. The Marigold model is expected to be completed by late November.
The Marigold floor plan includes 3,578 square feet under air plus an expansive covered lanai measuring 1,062 square feet. The plan features a spacious great room with an optional built-in entertainment center, a large gourmet island kitchen and breakfast area, a formal dining room, four bedrooms or three bedrooms plus an optional bonus room, a study, four-and- a-half baths, an outdoor living area with an optional fireplace, optional summer kitchen, a pool and spa, and a three-car garage. Pocketing sliders open the great room to the outdoor living area.
Corasaniti’s inspiration for the Marigold model was sparked by an unusual piece of jewelry made with rich dark turquoise stones and bold cocoa colored beads. She will base her color palette on this fresh and exotic combination and set it against a background of soft pale taupe to create a home that combines the elements of comfortable living with a touch of elegance. Flooring throughout the main living areas will be 9-inch by 36-inch pale gray and taupe tile laid in a staggered pattern to resemble a wood planked floor. The same tone of soft pale taupe will be used on the walls of the main living areas with a slightly deeper hue in the ceiling trays. The combination will create a quiet backdrop for the rich jewel-toned accent colors of deep turquoise, mocha, creamy ivory and soft aqua.
The Marigold’s welcoming entry foyer walls will be clad in a dramatic and glittering turquoise mica wall covering to create a show-stopping first impression. One entry wall will have a horizontal installation of stacked diamond shaped mirrors reflecting the opposite wall where a colorful large contemporary artwork will be hung. The foyer opens onto a long gallery that features a series of tray ceiling details. The flooring will echo the ceiling design with matching highly polished insets of Bianca Carrara stone running the entire length of the gallery.
In the generously sized great room, the feature wall will showcase a custom built-in with decorative dry wall columns flanking a mocha console floating in the center. Above the console, the television will be mounted on a wall covered in birch wood cork with a subtle silver metallic accent. A floor to ceiling niche to the right of the built-in will display a dramatic original sculpture and to the left will be a framed collection of contemporary art. The oversized and comfortable off-white linen sofa will have two accent pillows done in a deep turquoise and mocha leaf pattern and one accent pillow in an unusual metallic reptile pattern. Two club chairs in a soft light taupe chenille fabric will also have turquoise and mocha accent pillows in a geometric pattern. The large square cocktail table will have an antiqued mirrored finish and will sit on a striking dark turquoise shag area rug. The focal point of the great room will be a dramatic six-foot- wide bronze chandelier fashioned in the shape of a floating tree branch.
In the adjacent dining room, the walls will be a slightly darker taupe to create a more intimate dining experience. The niche wall on the right will feature a built-in for storage and a floating credenza in taupe with a bold decorative mirror hung above it. The dining table will be in a dark taupe wood finish and will seat eight. Custom designed dining chairs will feature the creative use of horizontal color blocking by having one third of the chair upholstered in off-white and two thirds of the chair in a deep dark turquoise.
The double-doored study will have walls in the same lighter shade of taupe as the great room. The large window will be incorporated into a custom built-in with two taupe finished bookcases and an upholstered window seat with accent pillows. A floating desk will be finished in an innovative lacquered hide treatment with pale grays and darker areas of mocha. The high-backed desk chair will be upholstered in a contemporary paisley fabric and two suede club chairs will flank a textured metal drum table.
A large kitchen island and all perimeter cabinetry will be finished in a pale off-white Alabaster tone. The granite countertops will be a lively mix of gray and taupe with a recurring hint of turquoise. The backsplash will be a pale putty glass tile in a high gloss.
Pocketing sliders will open from the great room to the outdoor entertaining area where a full outdoor kitchen, seating area, and dining area will flow comfortably under a covered lanai. The conversation area will feature two outdoor sofas that will face one another and two club chairs that will face the media wall. Grounding this area will be a cocktail table in the shape of a river rock. The large outdoor kitchen will have a floating island with four counter height stools. Graphite gray shaker style cabinetry will be topped with an Alaska white granite that features flecks of charcoal, grays and mocha. On the grill wall, the cabinetry and countertops will be in the same finishes and all will have stainless steel accents.
The walls in the master bedroom will be done in a soft pale taupe with darker taupe in the ceiling tray. A brushed nickel canopy bed will have a custom white linen upholstered headboard and be flanked by two nightstands in an espresso finish with a large silver medallion on the front. At the foot of the bed will be an off-white upholstered bench with nickel nail heads. All bed linens will be done in a luxurious dark turquoise fabric and will offer accents of soft light taupe and silver tones. The custom window treatments will have a metallic beaded band along the top of the light taupe fabric. A full dresser will be in the same espresso finish as the nightstands and will sit next to a dark turquoise wing chair by the window.
The flooring in the master bath will transition into a matte off-white Bianca Carrara marble tile that will extend onto the floor of the shower. The walls of the shower will be in a highly polished version of the same marble. The serene bath will have a subtle metallic wallcovering, off white cabinetry and Perla Bianca countertops. The free-standing spa tub will sit below a glittering chandelier.
